In autumn 2015, the song on the Swiss television broadcaster SRF was submitted via an online vote on the broadcaster's homepage. So she was selected as one of the 10 candidates for the preliminary decision for the ESC .
In the final on February 13, 2016, she won the preliminary decision The Great Decision Show . So she was allowed to represent Switzerland at the ESC 2016 in Stockholm .
The song was released as a download on January 8, 2016 through the music label Little Jig Records .
