The Night is a 1984 song by Valerie Dore written by Barbara Addoms and Giuseppe Nicolosi .

history

The Night was released on September 12, 1984. It was a chart success in many European countries, for example Germany and Switzerland .

The original length is 3:30 minutes, but on the 7 ″ single the song is two seconds shorter. There is also a 12 ″ single version that is 5:46 minutes long. The song is about unrequited love.

In the music video, Valerie Dore was accompanied by some studio musicians during the song.

In 1995 another version was released under the title The Night '95 , which comes from Oliver Momm .
