YouTube

Users of the YouTube platform have expressed concerns about the company's practices in relation to copyright clarifications. In an article in The Daily Rind, the group describes that audio tracks that are found by YouTube's content identification system and that match the audio material of Orchard clients are automatically reported to YouTube. In addition, there is the possibility to dispute copyright issues via the content identification system. The Orchard has been repeatedly criticized by YouTube users in this regard, as they were wrongly accused by The Orchard, especially in cases in which the group did not hold any copyrights to the material used.
