Barsuk Records
Barsuk Records , or Barsuk for short ( Russian: badger ), is an independent label from Seattle , USA , which was founded in 1994 by Christopher Possanza and Josh Rosenfeld of the band This Busy Monster . Their logo shows a dog with a record in its mouth. This should be a reference to the namesake, Possanza's black Labrador . The label is best known for the releases of the bands Death Cab for Cutie and Nada Surf .
