Indigo (sales)
Indigo ( Indigo Musikproduktion + Vertrieb GmbH ) is one of the most important independent German music distributors for independent labels . The seat is in Hamburg .
Indigo was founded in 1993 by Nikel Pallat (once at Ton Steine Scherben ) as well as Albrecht Boehm and Jörn Heinecker (formerly owner of the EFA- Nord sales department ). Indigo is a pure distributor without its own label program and without its own shops. The catalog includes releases from over 200 independent labels from a wide variety of genres. The focus is on pop, rock, black music, dance & electronic, jazz, world music & folklore as well as classical music. Music videos and feature films are also distributed.
