Weser label

Weser Label is a German independent label from Bremen that specializes in punk bands .

The label was founded pro forma in October 1982 when the German punk band Die Mimmi’s released a record in self-distribution and needed a name for the distribution company. This later led other punk bands like Die Suurbiers or Die Goldenen Zitronen to sell their records through label founder Claus Fabian as well. The label grew and over the years albums by Rocko Schamoni , The Busters , Bela B , Wiglaf Droste , The Lurkers , Heiter bis Wolkig and Falling Carrier Pigeons were released.

In 1999 a subsidiary label called Superrock Records was founded, specializing in rock music . The owner is Claus Fabian, who was also the drummer of ZK , the predecessor band of the Toten Hosen .
