Julia Hummer
Julia Hummer (born April 24, 1980 in Hagen ) is a German film actress and singer-songwriter.
Life
Julia Hummer, the youngest of five siblings, spent her childhood and youth in northern Germany and Switzerland. At the age of 17 she dropped out of school in the eleventh grade and was discovered on a street in Hamburg by the photographer Daniel Josefsohn . Your picture was on the cover of the now magazine of the Süddeutsche Zeitung . After she was recognized by director Sebastian Schipper in Hamburg from this cover picture, he hired her for Absolute Giganten in 1998 . She has never attended drama school.
She then starred in a number of German films and was seen, among other things, in a supporting role in the episode film Stadt als Beute and in a leading role in Ghosts by Christian Petzold , who also took part in the competition at the Berlinale 2005. The multiple broken ankle could only be properly restored after a few operations and a total of one and a half years of time off.
Julia Hummer is mother of one son and lives in Hamburg again after living in Berlin for a few years.
