Julia Hummer (born April 24, 1980 in Hagen ) is a German film actress and singer-songwriter.

Life

Julia Hummer, the youngest of five siblings, spent her childhood and youth in northern Germany and Switzerland. At the age of 17 she dropped out of school in the eleventh grade and was discovered on a street in Hamburg by the photographer Daniel Josefsohn . Your picture was on the cover of the now magazine of the Süddeutsche Zeitung . After she was recognized by director Sebastian Schipper in Hamburg from this cover picture, he hired her for Absolute Giganten in 1998 . She has never attended drama school.
