The party Pillars of Truth ( Boutokaan Te Koaua ) ( German  pillars of the truth party ) is a political party in Kiribati in the Maneaba ni Maungatabu (House of Assembly).

The party emerged from a split from the National Progressive Party , which was the first party to come to power after independence in 1979.

In the 2003 presidential elections, party leader Anote Tong won 47.4% of the vote and became president. In the election for Maneaba ni Maungataba two months earlier, the party won only 16 out of 41 seats.

In the parliamentary elections on August 22 and 30, 2007, the party won 18 seats. On October 17, 2007, Anote Tong was re-elected by a large majority. The opposition boycotted the elections due to the expulsion of two opposition candidates (including Tong's brother Harry). In 2016 Taneti Mamau of the Tobwaan Kiribati Party took his place as President.
