At 258 meters and 74 floors, The River South Tower is one of the taller skyscrapers in Bangkok , Thailand.

Together with The River North Tower , it forms the complex The River ( Thai เดอะ ริ เวอร์ ). Construction began in 2008 and the building was completed in 2012.

The building is located directly on Mae Nam Chao Phraya opposite the Shangri-La Hotel . The complex has its own pier and offers a half-hourly shuttle service across the river.

General

The complex was built by Raimon Land Plc., The architect was Stephen J. Leach, Jr. & Associates Ltd., and the interior designer was J + H Boiffils. The building consists of a reinforced concrete structure , which is provided with a glass facade running over the entire height. The south facade is also curved around a vertical axis.
