The Rocket Summer is the stage name of the American rock musician Bryce Avary (born December 31, 1982 in Texas ).
biography
Avary released two EPs himself before signing with The Militia Group in 2002 . His debut album Calendar Days was released there in 2003 , which he wrote himself and for which he played all the instruments himself. Musically, he moved between alternative rock and emo . A second LP and two EPs followed before Avary moved to Island Records in 2007 .
There he had his breakthrough in the same year with his third album Do You Feel ; it reached number 44 on the US charts. With the following album Of Men and Angels , which was released in 2010, he even surpassed the success. In addition to number 38 on the Billboard 200 , the album reached number 4 on the rock album charts.
