The Stage (English for Die Theaterbühne ) is a 1000 m high mountain basin piled up with moraine rubble in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies between the ridges of West Aisle Ridge and Central Aisle Ridge on the northern flank of Renegar Glacier on the Scott Coast .
The formation was explored by a team from the New Zealand Geological Survey led by geologist David Norman Bryant Skinner (* 1938) between 1977 and 1978 and descriptively named after its appearance from the lower Renegar Glacier.
