The TriSonics are a three-piece music group from Munich . Founded in 2000 by Derek Singleton, Ralf Nickolaus and Barbara Streidl (also bassist for the Moulinettes ), the band has now released three albums and one single.

In 2005 the drummer, Ralf Nickolaus, separated from the group, Dim Schlichter is the new drummer. The appearance of the group in 2006 in the JVA Stadelheim in Munich was extremely exciting . The Greek record label Onstage Records released a recording of the concert under the title The TriSonics in Prison .

style

The band's music is based on the rock 'n' roll of the fifties; but it is a contemporary continuation, not a backwards-oriented adaptation of the pieces by Elvis Presley , Johnny Cash or Carl Perkins , as many other rock'n'roll groups practice. Swing elements and country influences are just as much a part of the typical sound of TriSonics as the guitar sounds of indie rock .
