The The Trust Bank Ltd. is a credit institution in the West African state of Ghana .
The enterprise
The Trust Bank (TTB) was founded as a private finance company in 1996. The offer of the bank extends beyond the classic offer of a credit institute with 14 branches in Ghana, electronic banking, investment systems for internet banking. Nine branches can be found in the Greater Accra Region , another three in the Ashanti Region and two more in the Central Region of Ghana. The majority of TTB's customers come from the field of small and medium-sized companies, which are made up of all economic sectors.
Since it was founded in 1996, the company has regularly shown high growth rates. The TTB participates in a large number of funding programs within Ghana. Special support was given to programs to improve health care and education in Ghana.
In 2005, the company had revenues of 154.2 billion cedi , which at the annual average exchange rate for 2005 corresponded to a sum of 16.773 million USD. This is an increase of nearly 14 percent over the previous year when the company posted 131.2 billion cedi on the income side, which was $ 14.716 million a year on average. TTB's pre-tax profit in 2004 was 55,005,606,000 Cedi ($ 6.17 million).
