The Victorian English Gentlemens Club was an indie rock band founded in Cardiff in 2004 . The single Impossible Sightings Over Shelton from the self-titled debut album reached number 10 in the UK singles charts in 2006 . After the release of their fourth album GYTS , they finally broke up again.

The band had its own style that combined elements from pop, rock and punk.
