The Wave Pictures

The Wave Pictures are an English rock band that has existed since 1998.

Band history

In 1998 David Tattersall (guitar, vocals) and Franic Rozycki (bass) founded the band “Blind Summit” with drummer Hugh Noble in Wymeswold , Leicestershire . After Noble left the group, Johnny Helm eventually became the new drummer, and the band was now called "The Wave Pictures".

By 2006 they recorded six albums of their own, which they copied and distributed themselves. They worked with musicians and bands like Herman Düne , Jeffrey Lewis and The Mountain Goats . They also performed in France and New York .

In 2006, after all band members had finished their studies, the Wave Pictures moved to London and released their first album with Sophie on a record label .
