On March 8, 1986, the single Living Doll by and with Cliff Richard was published for the benefit of the charity Comic Relief . This reached number 1 on the UK charts and was awarded gold .

The series is about four young and contrasting students who live in a shared apartment and have absurd experiences there. The residents are the would-be anarchist Rick, the hippie Neil, the handsome Mike and the punk Vyvyan.
