The day after ... is an American alternative rock - band from Las Vegas .
Band history
The band was founded in 2001 by singer and guitarist Jenine Cali and bassist KC Wells, who have known each other since they were twelve and had been making music together since 1999. Their breakthrough came in 2005 when they were invited to the South by Southwest Festival . After three independent album releases, their album A Different Way to Get By was released in October 2006 on the independent label Gotham Records . The day after… toured with bands like Blue Man Group , The Killers , Five for Fighting and in December 2006 was the opening act for the alternative rock band Soul Asylum.
