Theater Company Stuttgart
The Theater Kompagnie Stuttgart (TKS) is a touring theater stage and was founded in 1998 by Cornelia Elter and Christian Schlösser.
history
In addition to teaching, students and lecturers at the Theater Akademie Stuttgart should also work together in real stage operations. With Hamlet by William Shakespeare , the TKS opened its gaming activity. A separate translation was created for this, which was published in the same year. This was retained for all foreign language subsequent productions. In 2000 the production Der Untergang by Walter Jens was nominated for the theater prize of the Stuttgarter Zeitung, and from 2001 onwards the tour was set up under the umbrella of INTHEGA . Since then, there has been cooperation with more than 180 German-speaking theaters.
The main focus of the TKS is the staging of classics.
