Theiviya Selvarajoo (born June 20, 1994 ) is a Malaysian tennis player .

Career

Selvarajoo mainly plays on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she scored a tournament win in doubles. She made her debut on the WTA Tour at the BMW Malaysian Open 2013 with a wildcard in the qualification and in the main draw of the doubles competition. In the first qualifying round in the singles she lost against the South African Chanel Simmonds with 1: 6 and 1: 6. In the doubles competition, she also failed in the first round with her compatriot Yus Syazlin Nabila Binti Yusri at the pairing Iryna Buryatschok and Chan Hao-ching with 1: 6 and 1: 6. At the BMW Malaysian Open 2015 , she again received a wildcard for qualifying in the singles and the main draw of the doubles competition. In the first qualifying round in the singles she lost against the Russian Yelisaveta Kulitschkowa with 2: 6 and 2: 6. In the doubles competition, she also failed in the first round with her compatriot Jawairiah Noordin at the pairing Han Xinyun and Junri Namigata with 2: 6 and 0: 6. In August 2016, the two celebrated their first tournament victory in doubles in Sharm el-Sheikh .

In 2013, Selvarajoo first played for the Malaysian Fed Cup team ; their Fed Cup record shows so far 17 wins and 12 defeats.
