Jawairiah Noordin (born October 8, 1990 ) is a Malaysian tennis player .

Career

Noordin plays mainly on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has won two tournaments in doubles so far. She made her debut on the WTA Tour at the Malaysian Open 2010 when she competed in doubles with the Vietnamese Trang Phuong Dai Huynh . She made her debut in singles in a WTA tournament in qualifying for the BMW Malaysia Open 2012 , where she was defeated in the first qualifying round by Japanese Shūko Aoyama 4: 6, 6: 4 and 3: 6 in three sets. At the BMW Malaysian Open 2015 , Noordin started with a wildcard in singles and doubles alongside her compatriot Theiviya Selvarajoo . However, she could not reach the second round in either of the two competitions.

In 2010 Noordin played for the Malaysian Fed Cup team for the first time ; their Fed Cup record shows so far 15 wins and 12 defeats.

So far, she achieved her best world ranking positions in singles in November 2009 with rank 931, in doubles with rank 729 in February 2017.
