Theodorus Antonius Gerardus "Theo" Snelders (born December 7, 1963 in Westervoort , Netherlands ) is a former Dutch football goalkeeper . He started his career in 1980 at Twente Enschede . In 1988 he moved to FC Aberdeen , where he was voted best player in the Scottish Premier League in 1989. In March 1996 he moved within the Scottish League to the Glasgow Rangers , where he ended his career in 1999. In the 2004/05 season he worked as a goalkeeping coach at Twente Enschede.
With the Dutch national team he took part in the soccer world championship in 1994 , but was not used there.
