Theodor Bannier

Theodor Bannier (born November 2, 1883 in Tating ; † unknown ) was a German politician .

Bannier, who was a bank director by profession, was a member of the city ​​council of Schleswig for the civil list "common good" during the Weimar Republic . He was elected head of the city council in 1929. In the city council election on March 12, 1933, in which the NSDAP gained an absolute majority, he ran for the German national black-white-red battle front , but was no longer elected to the city council.

After the end of the Second World War , he was appointed to the city council of Schleswig on May 19, 1945 and sworn in as such on January 16, 1946. From March to November 1946 the non-party Bannier belonged to the first appointed state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein . Here he was an intern in the CDU parliamentary group .
