Theodor Hermann August Lubrecht

Theodor Hermann August Lubrecht (born July 2, 1846 in Hollenstedt , † March 18, 1919 in Dungelbeck ) was a German Lutheran clergyman and politician.

Life

Lubrecht was a son of the pastor August Lubrecht. He attended schools in Celle , Wolfsburg and finally in Hildesheim , where he passed the high school diploma in 1866 at the Andreanum grammar school . He then studied theology at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In 1870 he was employed as a private tutor in Schleswig and passed the first and in 1872 the second theological exam. After serving as an assistant pastor in Jeinsen and Hildesheim, he was ordained in March 1873. From 1874 to 1899 he was pastor in Garmissen , from 1899 pastor in Dungelbeck. He died there in 1919. The grave in the Dungelbecker cemetery is still preserved.

Political activity

From 1885 to 1893 Lubrecht was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the constituency of Hildesheim-Peine .
