Theodor Oelsner

Theodor Oelsner (born August 5, 1822 in Breslau ; † March 20, 1875 there ) was a German editor and writer.

Life

Born the son of a senior teacher, Oelsner went to high school in Breslau and studied philosophy in Breslau. During his studies in 1843 he became a member of the Raczek fraternity . He was also one of the founders of the Wroclaw Craftsmen's Association.

From 1861 to 1875 he was the publisher and editor-in-chief of the Schlesische Provinzialblätter . He was an old liberal and later a member of the National Liberal Party . He was friends with Hermann Schulze-Delitzsch .
