Theodor Schilling

Georg Philipp Theodor Schilling (born December 2, 1824 in Immichenhain near Alsfeld , † January 20, 1871 in Gersfeld ) was a German administrative officer and parliamentarian.

Life

Theodor Schilling came from Oberrieden . He studied law at the Philipps University in Marburg . In 1844 he became a member of the Corps Hassia Marburg. After graduating, he became an administrative officer. As district secretary of the Gersfeld district , he was initially provisional in 1866 and finally district administrator of the Gersfeld district in 1867 . He held the office until his death in 1871.

From 1867 to 1870 Schilling sat as a member of the constituency of Kassel 11 (Hünfeld, Gersfeld) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party .
