Theodor Sternenberg

Johann Theodor Melchior Sternenberg (born August 21, 1783 in Schwelm ; † September 10, 1852 there ) was a German businessman and politician .

Sternenberg, who was an Evangelical Lutheran denomination, was a merchant in Schwelm. There he was co-owner of the weaving mill Theodor & Konstanz Sternenberg.

Sternenberg was mayor of Schwelm. In 1830/31 and 1841 he belonged to the provincial parliament of the province of Westphalia for the state of the cities, the constituency Mark for the cities of Schwelm, Hagen and Altena . In 1847 he was a member of the first and in 1848 the second United State Parliament in Berlin.
