Theodora van Rossum

Theodora van Rossum (born June 5, 1923 in Essen , † February 15, 2019 in Munich ) was a German diplomat .

Life

Theodora van Rossum, who received her doctorate, was accredited as German ambassador in Lilongwe ( Malawi ) from 1983, as the successor to Karl Wand , until 1988 . Wilfried Rupprecht followed her as ambassador. She was in the diplomatic service in Africa for eleven years; other locations were the Ivory Coast and Guinea .

She was a signatory of the Bonn appeal , which stands for “a different development policy”.
