Theories is an American deathgrind band from Seattle , Washington that was formed in 2011.

history

The band was formed in 2011 and consists of singer Rick Powell, guitarist Lee McGlothlen, bassist Kush Karimi and drummer Joe Axler. A first EP was released in the same year . The release was followed by appearances in the US, with concerts at the Maryland Death Fest , Chaos in Tejas and the Southwest Terror Fest. It also went on tour with Cattle Decapitation . In 2014 the band reached a contract with Metal Blade Records . The group recorded their debut album Regression in The Red Room and The Boiler Room with producer Derek Moree . The song material was mixed and mastered by Scott Hull , who works for Visceral Sound . The album was released in 2015.
