Thermidor Records was founded in the early 1980s by Per Rob Carducci, who was also an employee of the SST Records label , and Jon Boshard. The musical focus of the Thermidor Records releases was on the industrial genre . In addition to SST, the label worked closely with Systematic Record Distribution and Subterranean Records . First release was a single by the punk band Flipper . The best-known releases include the US import of the birthday party album Prayers on Fire , the two ONO LPs and the debut album by SPK (band) . The Bremen industrial band Gerechtigkeits Liga appeared on the label. The Nig Heist was a project of the Black Flag - Roadies Mugger and released a single and an album on the label.
