Thesprotiko ( Greek Θεσπρωτικό ( n. Sg. ); Albanian Lelovë / -a ) is a small town in the municipality of Ziros in the Greek region of Epirus . Until April 1, 1927, the place Thesprotiko had the Slavic name Lelova (Greek Λέλοβα ( n. Pl. )), Which is still in use today among the residents. Until the administrative reform in 2010 , the city was the administrative seat of the municipality of the same name. With an area of 26,850 km² and 1363 inhabitants (2011) Thesprotiko is the largest area and the most populous local community in the municipality of the same name .

The local community extends over 26.850 km² in the west of the municipality of the same name on the border with Kranea. The place Thesprotiko stretches for two kilometers in a north-south direction at the transition of the Baldenesi mountain range to the level of the narrow Lakkiotikos valley.
Administrative division
First recognized as a rural community under its Slavic name Lelova (Greek Λέλοβα ( n. Pl. )) In 1919, Thesprotiko received its current name on April 1, 1927. The rural community of Thesprotiko received community status in 1948. As part of the 1997 regional reform, the municipality was merged with seven rural municipalities to form the municipality of Thesprotiko. This in turn merged with the administrative reform in 2010 as a municipality in the new municipality of Ziros, where it has had the status of a local community ever since.
