Thiago Ezequiel Almada (born April 26, 2001 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player . He has played in the first team of the first division team CA Vélez Sársfield since 2018 .

Club career

Thiago Almada comes from the youth of CA Vélez Sársfield . For the 2018/19 season he was accepted into the first team's squad at the age of 17. He made his professional football debut on August 10, 2018 in the home league game (1st matchday) against Newell's Old Boys . He was substituted on for Lucas Robertone after 63 minutes of play in his team's 2-0 win . He scored his first competitive goal on November 5th in the away game at CSD Defensa y Justicia . In the 2-3 defeat, he scored both goals for his team; here he was also called up for the first time in the starting XI and used for the entire duration of the game.

National team

Almada was used for the first time in 2018 in a game of the U-20 of the Argentine Association . In the 1: 2 defeat on March 23rd against England's U-18s , he came on as a substitute at the end of the game.
