Thimo von Colditz († December 26, 1410 in Meißen ) was from 1399 to 1410 bishop of the Meissen diocese (Metropolitan Association of the Archdiocese of Magdeburg).

Thimo came from the Colditz family . He was a son of Volrad von Colditz, a nephew of Withego II von Colditz and Anna, a née von Kittlitz , a sister of Johann III. from Kittlitz . The father dissolved the Colditz rule from the Margraviate of Meißen and submitted to the Emperor of Luxembourg. His brother Heinrich made several foundations for the Buch monastery .

As a bishop he saw himself from Margrave Wilhelm II through his influence on Pope Boniface IX. cut in his decision, but this also promoted the completion of the Meissen Cathedral, which was consecrated by Thimo in 1401.

Thimo was buried in the Meissen Cathedral . His tomb is a sandstone slab and shows the bishop under a canopy, plus the coats of arms of the diocese and the von Colditz family.
