While the last albums were characterized by more electronic music elements, Moloko let more live sound flow in for the first time on this album (e.g. The Time Is Now or Pure Pleasure Seeker ). In addition, there was more experimentation with Róisín Murphy's voice.
Trivia
Things to Make and Do reached number 3 on the British charts due to the great success of the singles The Time Is Now and Sing It Back . In Germany, the album reached number 14 and stayed in the album charts for 25 weeks.
