Third bridge guitar
A third bridge guitar is a prepared guitar or prepared zither with a third bridge .
functionality
The third bridge divides the strings in two. Depending on where the string is plucked, a bell-like overtone also sounds . The string oscillation is amplified when the upper part of the string is struck, depending on the position of the movable bridge. The string vibrates more intensely at the nodes, for example a pitch of 1: 2 results in a clear overtone.
