This Is the Arrival was an indie rock band from Munich that existed from 2008 to 2013 .

history

This Is The Arrival had its last line-up since the end of 2009. Ron Flieger, songwriter of the duo Chau Chat, got to know the band members at the time through a performance at the Tollwood Festival in Munich . In 2009 they released their first EP Metropolis . In early 2010 the band toured together with Mikroboy . Then they accompanied them Ready, Go! on tour to release the self-titled debut album on August 20, 2010 via Dienje Music. The pre-single Mexico was released on August 6, 2010. In 2011, two more singles followed with New York's Got a Piece of My Chest and Wish We Were Lovers . In February 2012 they released their second album A Million Kicks . At the beginning of August 2012 an exclusive video premiere for the song Sweetest Sound took place on the Red Bull website . The band broke up in November 2013 after a last concert in Munich's Atomic Café .
