This Is the Moment is a song by Friedrich Hollaender (music) and Leo Robin (lyrics) that was released in 1948.

Friedrich Hollaender and Leo Robin wrote This Is the Moment for the film Die Frau im Ermine (original title: That Lady in Ermine , 1948, director: Ernst Lubitsch , with Betty Grable and Douglas Fairbanks junior in the leading roles). The song was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Song in 1949 . In the field of jazz and swing also took this time Thelma Carpenter / Teddy Wilson , Mel Tormé , Larry Clinton , Betty Bennett , Kenny Dorham and Dave McKenna .
