Palka is a member of Alternative für Deutschland . He has been a member of the district council of the Heilbronn district for the AfD since the municipal elections in Baden-Württemberg in 2014 . In the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 2016 , he was elected to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg with 18.3 percent of the votes in the constituency of Eppingen (constituency 19) .
