Thomas leg
Thomas Bein (* 1957 ) is a German Germanic medievalist .
Life
From 1979 to 1985 he studied German , Romance studies and philosophy at the University of Bonn (1985 Magister Artium). After receiving his doctorate in 1987, he was a research assistant from 1990 to 1996 . After his habilitation in 1996 ( Venia Legendi : Germanistic Medieval Studies) he was senior assistant at the German Department of the University of Bonn from 1996 to 1999. Since 1999 he has been Professor of German and Medieval Studies at RWTH Aachen University .
His main research areas are edition theory and edition practice, German medieval studies and new media and propaedeutics.
