Thomas Bosmel (born April 18, 1988 in Caen ) is a French football goalkeeper .

Career

Bosmel was accepted into the reserve team of SM Caen in 2008 and completed an assignment for the fourth division team in his first season. In 2009 he moved up to the professional squad, but continued to play in the second team, for which he appeared more regularly from then on. In the first selection he was only placed as the third goalkeeper behind Alexis Thébaux and Damien Perquis . When both Thébaux and Perquis failed due to injury, Bosmel was able to celebrate his first division debut on March 12, 2011, even if he suffered a 2-0 defeat against AS Nancy . He also guarded the goal during the following two games, but remained without a mission in the 2011/12 season and at the end of it had to accept relegation to the second division. In 2014 he was able to rise again, although he was not directly involved.

Following the successful promotion, the goalkeeper Caen turned his back and signed with the second division AC Arles-Avignon . Even there, however, he did not manage to develop into a regular goalkeeper and also had to accept the fall into the third division in 2015. His contract was then terminated and he did not find a new club for the time being.
