Thomas Charpey

Thomas Charpey (born September 14, 1955 in Aachen ) is a German literary translator .

Works

Thomas Charpey studied geography at the University of Tübingen . Today , in addition to working in the book trade, he and Monica Barendrecht translate fiction from Dutch into German . In 1996 Charpey and Barendrecht received the translation prize of the Austrian Children's and Young People's Book Prize for their translation of Willem van Toorn's "Carrot, Mole and First Love".
