Thomas Dietz
Thomas Dietz (born May 19, 1982 in Regensburg ) is a German professional juggler . He is considered to be one of the technically best jugglers in the world and holds the world record in 5-club juggling with 53 minutes and 21 seconds, as well as a number of unofficial world records.
In 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 he won the title of Overall Champion at the World Juggling Federation ( WJF ) in Las Vegas . Dietz's specialties include pirouettes and long runs, crossings behind the back, and complex siteswap variations.
He owes a large part of his fame to the publication of several juggling videos on the Internet, which were created in collaboration with Mark “Schani” Probst.
biography
Thomas Dietz started juggling at the age of just under four, training and competitions were part of his childhood and youth. In 2003 he completed an apprenticeship at the State School for Artistry in Berlin.
Thomas Dietz achieved international success at the Individuals Competitions in Buffalo, IJA Championships in August 2004, where he achieved 1st place. In the competitions of the Numbers Competitions he reached once the 1st place and twice the 3rd place. Another year later, in 2005, Thomas Dietz became Overall Champion for the first time at the World Juggling Federation (WJF) championships. He was able to convince in the disciplines of advanced competitions, pirouettes, endurance and freestyle. He won nine of the fourteen competitions, including all three individual disciplines in freestyle. In 2006 and 2007 he repeated this success. In 2008 he was able to win the overall championship title again and at the same time said goodbye to his participation in the world championships in order to focus more intensively on his work as an artist in gala shows and variety shows in the future .
Since 2004 Thomas Dietz has been performing his own stage show entitled "Super Juggling Race Game". Thomas Dietz has been teaching in his own juggling workshops since 2009.
