Thomas Dworzak
Thomas Dworzak (* 1972 in Kötzting ) is a German photographer. Since 2004 he has been a full member of the Magnum Photos agency .
Life
Dworzak grew up in Cham in the Bavarian Forest . His work began in 1991 as a freelance photographer in Eastern Europe. At first he worked more for himself than with the idea of working for large agencies. The East became his specialty in the further course. Three years after starting his work as a freelance photographer, he moved to Tbilisi , Georgia . From there he traveled to the entire Caucasus and in particular to Chechnya . He has been a photographer for Magnum since 2000.
Exhibitions
Thomas Dworzak has had numerous exhibitions (also with colleagues) in well-known museums, for example from February 8 to May 12, 2008 in the Stedelijk Museum or in the California Museum of Photography in 2006.
