Thomas Fydell (born October 21, 1740 , † April 6, 1812 ) was a British businessman and politician.

Thomas Fydell was the eldest son of Richard Fydell and his wife Elizabeth (nee Hall). Fydell was in the family business, trading wine in Boston and Bristol . He was also active as a banker in Boston.

From 1772 to 1773 he was High Sheriff of Monmouthshire . He was Mayor of Boston in 1777, 1787, and 1798. His father, his uncle and grandfather had already held this position. From 1790 to May 5, 1803 he was a member of the British House of Commons , but had to give up his seat in 1803 due to electoral irregularities. In 1806 he was re-elected to the House of Commons. Fydell remained a member of parliament until his death on April 6, 1812. From 1803 to 1806, his son Thomas represented the Boston constituency.
