Thomas G. Cummings
Thomas Gerald Cummings (born March 23, 1944 ) is an American economist .
Life
Cummings graduated from Cornell University (Bachelor of Science, MBA) and received his Ph.D. in business administration from the University of California, Los Angeles . He then did research at Case Western Reserve University . Since then he has written over 19 books and authored more than 50 specialist articles. He was editor-in-chief of the Journal of Management Inquiry . Cummings served on the Board of Governors of the Academy of Management and was President of the Western Academy of Management. He is Professor, Director of the Leadership Institute, and Chair of Management and Organization at USC Marshall School of Business.
