Thomas Grüter (Author)

Thomas Grüter (* 1957 in Münster ) is a German doctor , non-fiction author and former software entrepreneur.

Thomas Grüter studied medicine at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster and received his doctorate in 1982 on the subject of the influence of the climate on pollinosis in grass pollen allergy sufferers and the improvement of symptoms through desensitization with a semi-depot preparation . After completing his studies, he worked as a doctor in Osnabrück, Paderborn and Münster for five years. He then founded his own software company, which he managed as managing director. Since 2002 he has been researching the neuropsychology of face recognition. From 2006 to 2008 he was an external lecturer at the Psychological Faculty of the University of Vienna . Since 2009 he has been an affiliate at the chair for general psychology and methodology at the University of Bamberg . He writes for SciLogs .
