Thomas Panny (born February 23, 1987 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Panny started his career at SC Himberg in Lower Austria . Later he came to the youth department of VfB Admira Wacker Mödling . In 2005 he made the leap into the Bundesliga. On April 29, 2006 he made his debut against Pasching . Panny was used as a defender. A year later, Admira was relegated. Panny remained loyal to his club in the regional league.

In the year of relegation, he celebrated the greatest success of his career so far. With the U-20 team of Austria , he came in fourth place at the 2007 Junior World Cup in Canada . Panny was used in four games and received two yellow cards. Before the semi-final to Panny broke the fibula , characterized he could not at the last games to attend.

After the ASK Schwadorf merged with VfB Admira Wacker Mödling , Panny was in the Admira squad for the First League , but was not used after his injury. In January 2009 he moved to the Regionalliga Ost to the FAC team for Vienna . After a brief stint in Vösendorf, Panny moved to 1. SV Wiener Neudorf in 2010 . This was followed by a renewed commitment to the FAC in the Regionalliga Ost. For the 2011/2012 season, Panny moved to the Vienna City League at Ostbahn XI. With 63 points, the defender was crowned champion together with his team, but unfortunately he was relegated immediately a year later. Panny stayed in the Regionalliga Ost after moving to SV Schwechat, after which he moved to ASK Kottingbrunn in the Lower Austrian regional league from the 2014/2015 season.
