Thomas Reinhardt (journalist)

Thomas Reinhardt (* 1956 in Ottweiler ) is a German journalist, non-fiction author and photographer.

Life

After graduating from high school , Thomas Reinhardt studied sociology , literature and politics at Saarland University . On October 1, 1982 he became a member of the editorial board of the Saarbrücker Zeitung . His favorite subjects there are travel, food & drink, cinema and music. He is currently Deputy Head of Special Topics and responsible for the event supplement treff.region of the Saarbrücker Zeitung. For several years he has been a member of the jury of the Günter Rohrbach Film Prize and was on the selection committee of the Max Ophüls Film Festival for many years .

He not only works as a text journalist, but also works as a photographer. He is a member of the Tele Freisen photo club and the German Association for Photography . In 2017 he was appointed artist of the Artiste Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique . He participates in AV shows, exhibitions and competitions.

He has published five publications on his various special topics, including a book for the 20th anniversary of the Max Ophüls Film Festival and a book for his series Das Saarland kocht and Wander und Enjoy im Saarland .
