Thomas W. Freeman

Thomas W. Freeman (* 1824 in Anderson County , Kentucky , † October 24, 1865 in St. Louis , Missouri ) was an American politician from the 19th century .

Freeman represented his home state Missouri after the secession in 1861 first in the Provisional Confederate Congress and later in the 1st Confederate Congress .

He died of typhus in the Southwestern Hotel in St. Louis in 1865 and was subsequently buried in Bellefontaine Cemetery .
