Thomas Wollinger

Thomas Wollinger (born December 17, 1968 in Vienna ) is an Austrian writer .

He grew up in Vienna and Stillfried . His studies in computer science and business administration were followed by a career in software technology .

His literary activities began in 1999 as a result of a writing workshop with Julian Schutting . In 2000, Thomas Wollinger co-founded the Graz authors' collective GRAUKO . In 2004 his novel Die Archäologin (btb Munich) appeared, in 2009 the Greek translation (Enalios Athens) appeared. Wollinger is a member of the Graz Authors' Assembly .

In 2006 he received the Lower Austrian Culture Prize .
