Thomas von Schröer
Thomas von Schröer (born December 14, 1588 in Neustadt , Hereditary Principality of Opole , Upper Silesia , † January 6, 1641 in Breslau ) was a German lawyer and poet .
Life
Schröer was born on December 14, 1588 in Neustadt, Upper Silesia, as the son of the baker Martin Schröer. After studying at high school in Breslau, Schröer studied in Wittenberg and Leipzig. In 1613 he returned to Breslau and became a lawyer, clerk and secretary of the council. The emperor raised him to the nobility. Von Schröer died on January 6, 1641 in Breslau and was buried in the Elisabeth Church in Breslau .
